Assessment tools
A collection of assessment tools are presented hereby. The assessments have been developed by professionals and researchers involved in the field of vocational rehabilitation and transition programs (Ivzori et al, 2020). Each assessment tool includes: its form, a short description, instructions for its administration and psychometric information. These assessment tools were originally developed in Hebrew and translated by professional translators into Arabic and English, a including back translation procedure.
1) Questionnaire name: A background questionnaire & Future Orientation (FO)

This questionnaire was constructed for the current study in order to obtain basic demographic data and the young person’s perceived future orientation.

2) Questionnaire name: Knowledge about the working world – KAOWW (Ivzori, Reiter, Sachs & Schreuer,2015)
- Description of the questionnaire:
Knowledge of concepts regarding work and employability skills was measured by the adapted Concepts Questionnaire (Ivzori, Reiter & Sachs, 2010) to a new questionnaire – Knowledge about the working world – KAOWW.
The questionnaire comprised 16 short descriptions of situations at work. The participants were asked to match each situation with a concept learned during the course (i.e security issues, personal relations, rights, environmental hazards). For example: “The supervisor did not allow the employee to take a sick leave, despite the certificate provided by the doctor” – participants are expected to mark that it refers to the concept “rights’.

3) Questionnaire name: A Self-Advocacy Questionnai for students and teachers (SAQ) (Ivzori, Sachs, Reiter & Schreuer, 2015)
- Description of the questionnaire:
The questionnaire was established for the current study, aiming to gather appraisal data regarding self-advocacy of participants (aged 15 and over), as assessed by themselves and by their teachers or parents.

4) Questionnaire name: Performance Capacity Card (Ivzori, Reiter & Sachs, 2010)
- Description of the questionnaire:
Performance Capacity Card measured working skills and habits. It comprised two similar versions of cards in order to assess the employee’s self-assessment of skills and habits during working experiences, and the supervisor’s observational assessment of the employee.
